American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Wilmington is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Wilmington is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I was excited to try this place as it came recommended. Iβve tried many bagels places in Wilmington and they all rank about the same. Ordered and picked up through the window. They forgot one or two bagels but luckily I realized before getting too far away. The pick up window had three cards and I say for at least 10 mins which shouldnβt happen if itβs just for pick up. The bagels themselves were on the soggy side. I ordered a pork roll and cheese on a bagel and there was barely any meat on it.

Holy Moly! This place FLOORED us! The sandwiches were HUGE and the tots and fries were plentiful. And soooo tasty! We ordered way too much lol but brought enough home for another meal later. The staff was fun, and friendly, and just so welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Salmon Lox bagel with an Everything bagel and Scallion cream cheese. I rarely write reviews unless I have a problem, but in this case I'm so satisfied that I want to give one. They are very consistent compared to every place I've been to, occasionally it isn't toasted well or maybe less cream cheese than I would like, or someone taking my order got it wrong, but way more consistent than most. They tend to load up the cream cheese which makes me very happy. I can't say "I wish they put more ____ in it" because there was plenty of salmon, capers, tomato, onions, cream cheese, and scallion. I didn't detect dill but not everyone makes their Lox bagels with it. I don't know if they tried to toast mine today, it didn't seem like it but they were very busy. I've had their bagel before with it toasted so well the outside was very crispy, it was awesome. I really like their jalapeΓ±o cream cheese and the jalapeΓ±o pieces were very fresh and crispy. I don't feel like I overpaid like I do with many places in Wilmington, their pricing is perfect how it is. Big thanks to management and staff for everything being so great, friendly, and consistent.

I have never written a bad review anywhere before. But this was the time to. The roast beef was so dry it tasted like dog food. The lettuce and tomato tasted 3 years old. The bagel which you would hope would be the best part given itβs a bagel restaurant was so soggy. Food lion bagels are even better. It was $20 with a cookie and drink. It was just a really sad disappointing experience.

Incredible. Ordered two breakfast burritos (one steak one bacon), a hashbrown, and a bacon egg and cheese bagel on plain. The burritos were MASSIVE. The bacon burrito was loaded to the brim as was the steak burrito which was insanely good. Hashbrown was delicious as well. Got the bagel assuming everything would be on the smaller side⦠oh how I was wrong. Easily the best breakfast burritos/sandwich place in the city
